RCA Home Theater
RCA Home Theater offers quite a selection of systems from which you can choose when you’re setting up your new theater system.
The RCA RTD217 is a 40-watt system with a DVD player, radio tuner, five speakers, a subwoofer.
An inexpensive system, it’s easy to set up and has a USB port for easy hook up of smaller components. It has a low total output of 250 watts, but it’s a good buy.
The RCA RT2760 has 120 watts, a receiver, five speakers
and subwoofer. Like many of the other RCA systems, it’s considered a “home theater in a box,” with very easy set up.
The quality will, of course, not be that of more expensive systems, but it’s a good way to get a home theater on a budget.
Some consider the sound to be tiny, while others find it adequate in their small- and moderately-sized rooms.
The RCA Home Theater RT2380 System receives pretty good reviews for its price. It has a receiver, radio tuner, five speakers and a subwoofer. It’s 90 watts.
It’s easy to use, has a fine sound, but of course is not recommended if you’re going for optimal theater-quality sound. As one reviewer states, it provides “bang and rumble” for a smaller space.
The same person notes that they were surprised by the quality of construction, as they expected more plastic parts from a $150 system.
The RCA RTD207 has a DVD player, radio tuner, five speakers, a subwoofer, and it’s 40 watts. As with the other RCA systems, users love the easy set-up.
They appreciate the color-coded wires for each component. The quality of the subwoofer leaves something to be desired, but that’s to be expected in such an inexpensive system.
The RCA RTD120 is a very inexpensive system with pretty poor reviews. While the sound is okay and it’s easy to set up, the quality is really not great.
The system is not compatible with external inputs, while there are others on the market that are.
It seems that an RCA home theater is a good answer to anyone who wants a very inexpensive entrée into the home theater market.
